Value, I love Portland tonight too. But you can't really blame Yao, he's been doing all he can, Portland doubles and triple teams him constantly, and even when he doesn't have the ball. Thats the reason Scola has been have big nights. I think the real hole the Rockets have is the lack of a scorer from the SG position. Aretest hasn't been getting it done, and with Wafer out tonight, they will have real issues if Houston needs someone to create a shot with the clock running down.
PORTLAND BIG
ahhhh, so youre saying the Rockets could use a healthy Tracy McGrady right now? . i would have to wholeheartedly agree.
Remember 6 or so years ago, when Tracy McGrady then with the Orlando Magic, played lights out in leading his team to a 3-1 series lead over the Detroit Pistons. Then at the press conference he had to say this series is basically over
Even though he is only on the sidelines now, I am anticipating another 3-1 series collapse.

YES SIR, I was actually starting to believe the Rockets were some how better without Tmac, but he would be keeping Portland much more honest on defense. Yao commands so much respect and attention from Portland's defense. Every great team needs that inside outside combo, and at the moment, Houston is a one dimensional offensive team.

I completely agree. I really enjoy your insight and approach to handicapping. All the value lies with Portland and the points tonight. I will be on the young Blazers with the points and the ML.
Best of luck to all Portland backers....keep up the good work VFR

one other thing i want to mention. you were spot on in game 1 of this series when you predicted the pressure would be too much for the blazers and sure enough the rockets blew them out of the water from the opening minute. now we agree all the pressure will be on the rockets and im expecting a great game from "the natural," Brandon Roy.
