Just ask yourself when making your next wager, do they want to be here. When making bets,  we just ALL ASSUME they want to play...

That is the difference between being successful and not in this business...

You will also not know if they want to play or not so this is pointless.

I agree with you to a point.  During a game many things can happen which in turn can provide for some fuel to these players, smack talkin, fans talkin shit etc...  I've seen it first hand it's like a switch can be turned off and on.

I wish that I had Gilbert Arenas' cell phone number to check and see if the team was really going to be into it or not today.

Well, thats exactly it. This is exactly like the stock market......

People make money on the stock market from tips, news and info from directors, execs etc. I for no doubt, players tell there friends, not necessarliy if they ae going to win or not, but factors that will significantly influence outcomes, ie, tempo of the game etc.

Most of these players help there friends out, no doubt...

Ask yourself this, if a team plays on Christmas Day and then have to board a flight to play on the road the next day would you really be motivated to be playing?
