I've been sitting on the sidelines for a week. I've got to get back in the game. This feels like the time.
We've had now once Wolves/Spurs go under that is 5 of 6 Semi games going under. By my calculations, we won't get Foster or Brothers on the Cavs/Pistons G2 as they whistled tonight. We can eliminate Capers too as he ref'd the last Cavs/Pistons G1. So that leaves Goble/Zarba/Williams/Tiven as possible crew chiefs. Any of those is fine with me.
Orl/Det series opened at 219.5 total and that was with 2 teams that try to play defense. Cavs avg'd 124ppg in last year's playoff on the road. Goble avg'd 241ppg in this stretch last year, Zarba 224, Williams 228 and Tiven 236. Goble is coming off 5 of 6 unders in these playoffs, Zarba is coming in off 7 of 8 unders, Williams 3 of last 4 and Tiven 2 of last 3. Whomever get the nod on the whistle is due for a shoot em up.
The switch from NBC and ESPN sting of unders now goes to Prime where they love to have shoot em ups. They'll adjust the magnets if needed.
If I'm reading ref crews right, tv coverage right then this should be a Rucker Park crazy shoot em up.
