Let me start by saying this will be my first wager on the Premier Tournament and while I was a City Champion myself, I have no idea how Vegas sets these lines. That being said, I'm on:
Adrian Lewis +175 over Raymond van Barneveld After a slow start, Lewis has come back to win 4 straight matches positioning himself for a shot at advancing to the elite 8 with a win or draw. No question that Lewis can fill a bed as well as any though sometimes struggles with his outs. van Barneveld is terrific though already assured a spot in the elite 8 which may, or may not, be to his advantage facing a more desperate opponent. Regardless, give me a 2-time World Champion facing elimination at this type of + value and I'll take it in a heartbeat.
Honorable mention:
Simon Whitlock +350 over Michael Van Gerwen I'll be honest....I've never seen Van Gerwen in action, but he presently sits just behind the top-seeded Phil Taylor. This play is all about the + value on a very solid Whitlock who advances with a win or losses by the last two seeds.
