not much on tap as usual on NBA thursday....the old tube TV in the sty will have the rabbitt ears tilted to TNT tonight...
the problems of the NYK are well documented, and i have already made the blazers a substantial play, betting them at -5 as soon as my book posted a line..
the knicks just will not have a post presence against aldridge tonight. to me its as simple as that.....BUT the fact the knicks will have to be perimeter oriented is interesting, and if the treys are going down, we could see a higher scoring game than expected...however the blazers wont have to defend the interior much against journeymen kenyon martin and kurt thomas, as i think tyson chandler also sits tonight... i will lay those 5 with the injury riddled knicks playing their 3rd game in 5 nights on a west coast trip that is turning out to be disaster for them...
dallas @ the spurs.....a rivalry game of sorts, and one the mavs need to win ....i dont think they can, and a concern is the recent injurt to darren collison....i hope he plays...but the line has climbed all day and i am am sitting and waiting to get max value on the mavs...right now the mavs are + 9 1/2 and if it doesnt go higher, i will buy the hook and be happy to play the mavs at +10. .thats it from the sty....blazers - 5 and mavs + whatever i can get.. also playing blazers -3 for the 1st half.... GL all, and see you later tonight, so we can complain or celebrate together....
