The negative "woe is us" mentality among the Sixers backers and fans is out in force, and my contrarian indicator radar is lighting up. I mean , when it comes down to nuts and bolts, what do we have here, compared to when we expected Embiid to play? The Sixers motivational positioning is the same, the Knicks still have the potential for regression, teams have won games before without a key player, and we're getting three extra points. I I have a hard time seeing a straight up win tonight, but you really never know. You wouldn't catch me laying -437 on the Knicks.

@Stew Baker the big guy.&#xA;I was heavily on the 76ers before the Embiid injury was announced. My worry now is how are the 76ers going to get a rebound without the big guy in the lineup. But 10.5 does seem a tad too high even without Embiid playing. Emotionally the Knicks might ease up. We&#x27;ll see.&#xA;BOL!
