Question

Now that we&#x27;re well underway in the NBA season i&#x27;ve decided to start posting my picks again. Really enjoy reading the forum and would like to become more involved. Really respect alot of you cappers on here, hopefully i can hold my own. Wager scale works from a 1-10 unit scale but most picks fall between 1-5 units. For me personally 1 unit = $200. Ill update record and units. Fade or follow. Lets get this week off to a good start:Portland &#x2B;1 @ Charlotte - 2 unitsShould be a fairly close game. Charlotte has lost 4 of 5 but are still a much improved, scrappy team, ill back the experience of Portland though. Mkg vs batum and walker vs lillard should balance out. Aldridge should tip the scales to Portlands favor. Milwaukee @ New Orleans over 188 - 3 unitsThis line should be closer to 194-196. Ill take the value and roll with the over. Orlando @ Golden State over 194.5 - 4 units Some trends: Orlando 11-4 in the over last 15 vs western conference Golden State 6-2 in the over last 8 games, 7-1 in the over last 8 vs. eastern conference. Adding Orlando &#x2B;10 @ Golden State - 3 unitsOrlando has to be feeling pretty good after their strong play vs Lakers. 10 is too much for Golden St to be laying at home. Ill take the points.

Milwaukee was really disappointing, scoring just 31 points in the second half and going under by 5. Disappointing but we still went 3-1 last night.

Locking in a couple picks for tonight:Oklahoma City @ Brooklyn over 191 - 3 unitsNo real trends or stats to throw out here. Just a gut play, should be an entertaining game. I think okc cracks 100 and brooklyn stays close so ill take the over. Los Angeles Lakers -1.5 @ Houston - 5 unitsLakers are my play of the day today. Such an unreliable Jekyll/Hyde team that&#39;s struggled with Houston only winning 4 of the last 7. I still like the lakers though and actually think going on the road and getting away from the pressures of home will be good for the team. Houston is an ok but not great team. The last time the lakers lost back to back games was during their last road trip in Memphis. Houston isn&#39;t Memphis. I like the lakers to get the win.

Indiana always plays Chicago tough. Granger and rose out I still think the game ends within 5 points.

In short. Brook Lopez and Reggie Evans both look out in an already thin Brooklyn front court. Gives a noticeable advantage to an okc team that's been rolling of late. I usually don't like taking 2 road favorites often go 1-1 but...

@DM12 my understanding is love is playing but he has the flu which you&#39;d think slows him down. I&#39;m playing Philly because of the line. -3 to me means you&#39;re saying on neutral court Minnesota is getting a small chalk. So far this year the 6ers look better. Kirilenko is out. To go along with Roy and buddinger. Their guard play is thin at best. Philly has been quietly winning without Bynum

Tough night last night. Philadelphia was a bomb of a pick but still should've salvaged a 3-1 night. Took a massive effort by the Lakers to lose that one.

Finished the night 2-2, went 3-0 on leans I never played. Not a disaster, but not what I'm looking for.

Gonna hit some winners tonight.

Milwaukee @ San Antonio over 197.5 - 5 units

Same basic strategy as last nights OKC game. Expect San Antonio to score over 100 points and end close to 110. Expect Milwaukee to rebound from their poor offensive effort at New Orleans.

Over is 10-2 San Antonio's last 12 vs Central division

Over is 25-10 San Antonio's last 35 vs Eastern Conference

Milwaukee is 10-4 ATS last 14 meetings.

Expect San Antonio to put up some points but for Milwaukee to keep it somewhat close. Take the over

Lakers -4.5 @ New Orleans &quot;Pelicans&quot; - 4 unitsNo angles no trends. Just enjoy torturing myself. This Lakers team defies reason. Just don&#39;t see them losing 3 straight. I actually think the lakers are better without Pau in the lineup. New Orleans is sub par at best. Hopefully the lakers show up. Line will probably be -5.5 to -6 by game time so ill take it now.

Knicks # 4 offense (102.7ppg) vs Miami #2 offense (104.4ppg)

Knicks #8 defense (94.9ppg) vs Miami #21 defense (99.9ppg)

Really like the over here. I see Miami doing exactly what Charlotte did last night and push the tempo against this senior Knicks team. We know both teams love to fire up the 3s and both teams hit the 3 (both top 3 in the league hitting over 40% from deep).

Over is 8-2 in Miami's last 10 at home
Over is 5-2 in New York's games with 0 days rest
