It's get a little tricky betting the NBA this time of year. You have to pay close attention to detail. For example will coaches rest certain key players . Some teams are willing to play hard while other post season bound teams might be preparing for the playoffs. Seedings are important to some coaches but not to all. Identifying this might be easier said than done. Bottom line remains the same !! Looking for value within the pointspread.

Who needs this game more ?? Without a doubt Denver. They are sitting in 7th place in the West but have yet to secure a playoff berth. A couple of big wins on the weekend against the Rockets and I think the momentum should carry over into tonight. Affalo and Lawson lit it up last game and with a post season spot at stake i don't see much of a letdown. Excuse me for betting this game ( A LA CHICKEN ) on the Money Line. I just don't wanna get burnt be a meaningless trey at the buzzard like Delonte West did to my Utah Jazz -3.5  ticket on Monday night.

One of my favorite trends is betting against a team that just recently was mathematically eliminated from post season play. UTAH LOTS TO PLAY FOR !!! PORTLAND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !! Let's take a look at Portland's starters for today's game.  Matthews,Flynn, Bryzbilla,Babbit and Hickson. The Jazz should roll here.

Love all the plays 44...and boy, do I hear ya on that Jazz game...I can count on my 2 hands how many parlays I have taken in past 17 years or so, and had a hair up the ass and decided to roll w a 4 teamer for 100 bones...Jazz was last leg for the win...sometimes I feel like I am getting too old for games like that...what a grind huh?...best of luck to ya today, and in the playoffs...you should bump that Piston play up a notch, I think they wanna fuck w a few of the teams playing for something last few games...where the hell were "these" Pistons at earlier in year?...GLTA

A couple of teams that I've noticed playing hard down the stretch despite being theoretically eliminated from January are NEW ORLEANS AND DETROIT.
PISTONS GETTING +9.5 I LIKE IT . They only reason i didn't play if for more is because they are in the middle game of a B2B2B. If by any chance (( hopefully not ) the score gets out of hand we'll probably see the reserves play out the 2nd half and that decreases your chance of a back door cover.

This is a wake up call for the ROCKETS !!  Four losses in a row. They get Kevin Martin back for today's game. Its the biggest must of a must win. Rockets in a 3 way tie for the last spot in the West.

About motivation for Denver and Clippers,.. Clippers are only 0.5 game behind the Lakers.  Don't you think they would be motivated to pass the Lakers to win the "battle of LA"?  Plus, I think Clippers would rather meet Denver or Dallas in the first round...

I thought about it and I think their either gonna get the 3rd or 4th seed which is good enough to host a first round game. This should be the first and foremost goal.
