isn't there a trend that if a team loses by 40+ points to the team they are playing take the team that lost in the revenge game? Last time they played each other Hornets beat Atlanta by 41 last season

Only one I can think of about low points like that is play on a team that just scored under 67 points. But that's not for revenge games. 

Bigger question you should ask is why would the Hawks only be -2.5 if this is such a huge revenge game (41 point loss) Tons of action on the Hawks and the line isn't moving. Hornets with the worst record in the league and only catching 2.5?  I like the hornets here

You do make a good point however maybe the lines makers realize that Atlanta might be gases from OT last night in Detroit, hence the 2.5 point spread.

They are not at that level to win a ton of close game in playoff buildings on the road but they are getting there.
