NBA is allowing OKC to ruin the league

Turned a game 5 of a tied series into a free throw contest. Its a 14 point game and the Spurs still can't get a whistle while the Thunder get one on almost every drive to the hoop. 

38 free throws for the Thunder. Big surprise the "free throw merchant" won game 5 after winning the MVP for inflating his number at the free throw line. Dbag falls down more than any other player by a large percentage after every shot or attempt he makes at the ball. What does the NBA due reward him with the MVP and a trip to the finals. Take OKC next game and if they don't cover double it on game 7. NBA will not allow them to lose.

And 30 for SA. Blame Mitch Johnson. You got a guy a foot taller than everyone and he doesn’t play in the paint. Absolutely mind boggling. 

Awe did you lose your lunch money again? The Thunder is one of the smallest markets in the NBA so I'm sure they are rigging it for them. Must be a Bone Spurs fan making excuses. You casuals kill me.

Spurs didn't get whistles till they were down 10+ and if they got within 10 it was free throws for OKC. Spurs coach was literally in the refs face calling for a challenge and the ref waved him off and walked away to let the Thunder come down and then sent them to the free throw line. OKC was hacking and shoving Wemby every time he touched the ball and they called less that 25% or it yet the Spurs got called for EVERYTHING.

 Gotta love people who brush off the horrible officiating because someone lost money. Doesn't change the fact the game was called like shit.

spurs had 32 ft vs okc 18 and through the series spurs had more ft in every game exept this 1

u guys really think spurs will go to the finals first year in the playoffs with wemby and this young teams 

explain the ref blatantly ignoring the head coach trying to challenge. He was right in the refs face and he waved him off basically saying "no, you are not challenging" and then handed 2 more free throws to the Thunder on that same play. Ball was clearly off OKC and wouldn't let them challenge. Another play clearly off OKC turned into a jump ball cause they didn't "see" who it went off. A clear goaltend not called. Yet they laid a finger on OKC and it was free throws. The majority of free throws the spurs got where when they were already down 10+. Once they got closer than 8 they stopped calling fouls for the spurs and gave 8 straight free throws to the thunder on a bunch of out of control drives. The Spurs should of had the advantage at the free throw line only reason they didn't was cause the refs allowed OKC to man handle Wemby but if you even looked at SGA it was a foul.  

Only an idiot looks at the free throws and goes "it was called fair because the total free throws were close". OKC fouled the spurs way more and the refs choose to look the other way. 

Spurs got called for everything. OKC got called for maybe 50% of the fouls they committed. Then you look at the 3 or 4 other plays the refs ruled in favor of OKC when they were clearly wrong. 

I had Spurs for 1 Unit. You had to know the N.B.A. was going to call fouls ALL Game ..Especially on Floppin S.a . And the Refs Did.. thus One Unit..I was disappointed how the Spurs played on Offense. They were SO out of joint and weren't even fighting for better shots  . I get the refs made it worse for them and it easy to say they should of played thru it better...BUT" they should have. This game could have been closer. .and where is Wemby!?? Seriously " He actually is the One who really gave them NO chance. .He just sits at the 3 point area ALL game..How Sorry and Pathetic. Could you imagine having that height advantage..on the Road and your team needs you and you get punked all the way to the 3 point area.  It is SO Sad..if he Man's up and Dictates the remaining Game's..The Spurs STILL Win it..but I don't think he will. Even last game I thought he should have been in the paint area more even though the team didn't need him to be last game..

32 free throws to 38 isn’t crazy when you take into account that Wemby hungout around the perimeter most of game instead of attacking the paint. 

On the challenge.

1) how long do we want the refs to wait for the coach to ask for the challenge?

2) a timeout needs to be called before a challenge can be asked for. 

Mitch Johnson could’ve listened to his players right away and called the timeout for the challenge.

Instead he waited too long for his video team to get back to him. He sent a sub to the scorers table to stall even longer, but then the refs huddled up. He then pulled back that sub. 

The refs didn’t change the call and the stall tactic sub was no longer at the table to stop time even more.

Then to make things worse all he did was twirl his finger instead of calling the timeout that’s needed for a challenge.
