I won the Spurs in game 7 of the western series and am now 13-2 in the NBA playoffs over the last two seasons on plays posted here. Sacred rules: homecourt is meaningless in the playoffs, who needs the game is a real thing
Wednesday:
1* Knicks +5
I think the Knicks are going to win the series but I admit I'm not sure about Game 1. Teams with long rest in the playoffs are often flat and SA will be juiced after winning in OKC. But this line is too high to resist. The Knicks are a deeper team and unstoppable right now. New York is on a 10-0 SU and 9-1 ATS run and I admit that's been against three playoff pretenders (Atlanta, Philly, Cleve). But you can only beat who you play. The Knicks have shot over 50 percent in eight of their last ten and were close in the other two. SA has shot over 50 percent two of its last eleven. The Spurs are the best defensive team in the NBA and that's why they beat OKC in the last series. But the five point spread is based entirely on the premise of homecourt advantage which simply doesn't exist anymore in the post-season. Besides, don't be surprised if there are 2500 loud Knicks fans at the game.
