NBA 5/18: 6 1/2 is a lot to give San Antonio

I finally got a playoff win on Detroit in Game 6 in a series that again proved the irrelevancy of homecourt in the playoffs and that's the basis for tonight's play:

1* Spurs +6 1/2

This inflated line is giving too much credit to OKC playing at home.  Spurs have been on  a roll since late in regular season.  They're on an 11-4 ATS run and won the last two games of the Minnesota series by a combined 59 points.  This is a matchup of OKC's great offense (they're shooting over 50 percent most games) and the Spurs' outstanding defense (they haven't given up over 43 percent the whole playoffs and hold teams under 40 more than half the time).  SA by far the better spread team going 54-39 ATS this year while Thunder is only 44-46 ATS (OKC wins without covering A LOT).  There's certainly a thing of too much rest and OKC hasn't played in seven games.

This is exactly what I was thinking… It looks like free money if I've ever seen it… That's not even considering the long layover for OKC. Spurs arent the lakers, to turn being up at rhr half or at 3 and you have the chance to still outscore them by 20! 

edit- cant forget the spurs rodeo rode trip. Indont think they lost a game of thr 14 or so  games in that roadtrip. Theyre fantastic on the road.. and not to mention, did win 4-1 over okc the reg season!
