They play the scrap of the scraps to start the year here we go:

Home- Kings, Magic, Bobcats, Warriors, Cavs, Bucks

Away- Craptors, Brooklyn (new team after Knicks game), Dallas (beatable with Dirk injuries, Delonte's distractions and new bench), Blazers who are young and mediocre (B Roy's return), Warriors, Kings, Magic

Now they still have a solid vet PG who can manage the game and put up some pts in Ridnour, they have a rejeuvenated AK47, Budinger to bring energy, Pekovic who made great strides last year, young Derrick Williams very talented, Roy, and solid bench players who've been on winning teams in Barea and Steimsa, as well as a competent coach in Adelman and a solid home crowd that might even be better with NHL in a lockout.

They can win a decent number of games, and then when Love comes back in November and Rubio in December you have a very dangerous team. They finished 26-40 last year with a ton of injuries so they know how to battle through them and with these vets they will. I don't think the Under is a cake walk of a bet especially since this crappy schedule will allow them to hang around until the reinforcements get back.

When the line came out it obviously had already factored into Rubio playing, but I think this will have everything to do with how Roy responds to a new environment and if he can stay healthy. If he gets to 90% of his former self, he was a top 25-30 player, Pekovic is someone that may become much more well known by the end of the season, and I love Kirilenko having a fairly solid year, maybe a couple of his infamous  5 x 5 games (at least 5 pts, rebounds, assists, steals blocks)    I was leaning under immediately after seeing the news but Love is a warrior and will get back ASAP....Dallas is more than beatable in my opinion (door is virtually 100% closed)  and I will take an Adelman coached team in the last minute of a close game with any number of those late tier teams
