Sup fellas, appreciate all the love. Despite the large slate tonight it's a weed out kinda Wednesday, and I don't mean the Chronic. Mak would never encourage the weeding out of Chronic :) I got 2 for tonight, a homer bet, a teaser and a partridge in a pear tree. BOSTON CELTICS - 10.5 (-130) - - - If anyone really wants to have success this year betting the Boston Celtics you have to realize one thing....they are senior citizens in the NBA. Now that can have its positive and negative aspects. As wagerers we have to understand when to back this team and when to lay off. During an easy schedule in terms of days rest this team is impeccable. When they are healthy (which they are despite Baby) and when they are rested, they are the money-train Celts that they were 2 years back. Rajon Rondo has always locked down Louis Williams. He just dominates him physically and is quick enough to stop his penetration. Elton is questionable, even if he plays I think he gets owned by KG. Perk and Sammy will be a good matchup but again I like Perk's size and girth. PP will show Prince Thaddeus the truth. Ray Ray will bounce back after a horrible shooting night and will be key in the victory tonight. The bench of Eddie, Sheed, Marquis and Shelden overshadow the shallow Philly bench. Should be a double digit victory for the Boston Celtics.

DENVER NUGGETS - 6.5 (-130) - - - For the first time all season in any game I actually think buying points matters to gain extreme value in this game. Don't get me wrong it is perfectly possible Denver blows em out, however I think this is more a mathematical line then anything. Last year Denver was not the best team on a back to back flying from Denver to said destination. However they are not as bad as the stats may indicate. They got trounced by close to 40 in Boston and that may influence the stats a bit. Close to the end of the season they got their shit together and it is clearly obvious that this team is not the same undisciplined team they were last year BB (BB - Before Billups) Despite losing Linas they have gotten some major depth is Afflalo & Lawson. In my honest opinion I think this line should be about 11.5. Begin able to buy down to 6.0 and basically a two possession game is a gift. I guarantee Minny will end up with the worst record in ball at the end of the season but with Al Jefferson starting to get his groove back it could cause them to increase competitiveness. Nugs from start to finish however I do not see a blow out. Hope I am wrong.

TORONTO RAPTORS + 3.0 (-110) (FAN BET) - - - 5-1 thus far on Raps wagers but I will not be counting this game in my unit count or record. Using a separate bankroll for this, gonna be watching the game with a bunch a beers and buddies so I thought I might put a few hundo on it. I wouldn't do it if I didn't think it was a possibility so I will share a bit of analysis however for all wagerers I don't think there is much value in this game. Despite being on a back to back look for a strong effort tonight, Triano called his team out after last night's win and told them they have ti display the same swagger on the road (that was his exact words!) They showed me a lot of moxy in their last back to back from Denver to Utah. Charlotte is a solid team I do think that effort will be there tonight, however the Raps stand #1 in the NBA is ppg while the Cats stand 27th. If the Raps just play the defense I know they are capable of playing this should be an easy su win. Go Raps Go !!
