Sup gents, lucky to go 2-1 yesterday, 9-3 in my last 12 but very minimal profit to show. Lookin to get that dirty money tonight. Best of luck fellas - - - MAK
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS - 10 (-130) - - - "I aint a killa but don't push me, revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin box" (Tupac Shakur, Hail Mary) Revenge is not the only thing that has this line inflated. When Chicago beat this team by one in Cleveland the Cavs were a drastically different team. You may think how is that even possible in such a short period of time but it is the truth. First off it looks like this Dalonte "Shotgun" West fiasco is behind them. West is back, dishing the ball, opening up lanes and scoring at will. Not the case vs Chi Town the first time around. J.J Hickson since inserted into the starting 5 has been perfect. His FG% is amazing, his low post scoring looks very good. He is a decent low post defender and is a hell of a rebounder, he is the perfect fit in the starting 5 and yet another piece that was not incumbent during their first meeting. Cavs have been rolling at home, Lebron has 20 assists in his last two games and is getting his teammates the ball in the right place and at the right time. Cavs are deep and rolling and they will exact revenge on a team missing two intricate parts to their roster. Thomas and Hinny are out and without them the Bulls don't have the horns to take the Cavs at home. Cavs by double digits.

ATLANTA HAWKS - 10.0 (-135) - - - During the season it is obvious that players improve, but coaches improve as well. It took a while for Mike Woodson to realize what his new assets could provide but I think he has figured his team out. After an embarrassing 5-19 performance Joe Johnson single-handedly lost the game for ATL in Detroit. Woodson realized he can't allow one player to dictate the success of their offense. He is now spreading the shot distribution a lot better. Look for Joe to take less shots and distribute more. He can attract defense as an all-star and cause some trouble for defenses. Atlanta is very deep and have numerous weapons on the offensive end. They beat NY by 13 in NY and I thought New York played a decent ball game overall. Knicks are resilient and may put up a fight but I see ATL scoring over 120 points tonight and I don't think the Knickerbockers keep up. ATL by double digits.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS 1ST HALF - 5.5 (-110) - - - The
Lakers are an impeccable 1st half team at home and recently they have
been owning. And why wouldn't they with the best 6 man rotation in
basketball. Fish, Mamba, Ron, Pau, Andrew and Lamar just get the job
done. It is the 2nd unit fake show that always fucks up covers for
us....so why not take them out of the equation? In the 2nd quarter even
though Phil plays 2nd unit men, he never plays them without at
least 2 of the sexy 6. As long as they have at least a few of the sexy 6 on
the floor at all times (which they do in the 1st half) then they should
roll over any team. Especially a Miami team flying from Denver to Cali
which is never easy. The last back to back game Miami had they were
outscored 60 - 43 in the first half by Atlanta. The Lakers have
covered their first half spread in their last 7 games in convincing
fashion. This could deceptively be one of the best plays on the board
tonight. Lake show have the power, they roll in the first 24 like Jack
Bauer :)
6 UNITS JERRY "LOGO" WEST - - - TORONTO RAPTORS + 4.5 (-110) - - - Listening to the post game show after yet another embarrassing performance in Atlanta is was evident that this team was past frustration. Bosh was quoted as saying "We are just not a good team" He was also dismayed at the fact he only had 2 shots in 16 minutes of play...something that is not acceptable in my eyes. Antoine Wright obviously upset he has not seen any run stated "The coach needs to change something, his system is not working" It seems as if this team is in shambles so why would I bet on them? Because pride is an unmeasurable factor in capping sports. Raps can only take so much, beat after beat and the spotlight is on them because the defense is just softer natural double D's. This game is 80% mental and defense is more mental then physical, that is why Bruce Bowen survived in this league for years. All the Raps have to do is step out on that floor tonight and play with some pride. They not only want revenge on Washington for a bad beat at home but they want redemption and I think they get it with a straight up win. I see Bosh getting 20+ field goal attempts and at least 15 FT attempts and has a 35+pt night easy. Jarret Jack is another player who will step up tonight and I think Marco hits some 3's off the bench. I really believe this team is capable of playing good basketball for 48 minutes, Jay Triano needs to check his own pride and run zone defense. It is that simple and I think you will see Toronto run zone if Washington gets too many in the paint. This is a must win, and I think they get it done. Raps straight up.

CELTICS@THUNDER UNDER 192 (-110) - - - On 0 days rest the Celts allow less points and score less points then they do on 1-3 days rest. The Celts are only allowing 83.5 points per game on 0 days rest. Good for best in the league, that number may have been skewed due to the fact that they held the Cats to 59 points the 2nd game of the season. Nevertheless if anyone watched that defense against the Spurs last night, you would know that this defense is legit. I don't think I have ever seen a more sound legitimate defensive team in years. Celts will slow the game down and cause an already weary turnover team to cough the ball up more then 15 times. Half court game, they will slow it way down. This game goes under the total.
