I will surely congratulate anyone who can make money trying to wager on Thunder let down spots as that would be no easy task at the moment...

Odds, how much confidence and $$ do you have on this game?? Just curious. There's no way it's a bug play right???

Why do people keep pointing out that Orlando lives and dies by the jump shot? So does Okc, and Orlando is leading the league in 3 point percentage and has the upper hand at the Center position. As far as Davis is concerned he's a better back up center than Mohammed.

I have resorted to making wagers of just 2 sizes over the past NFL, CFB, CBB & NBA season. That way I can't ruin a good ruin with a large wager that may lose or allow myself to dig deeper into the whole after a bad run with a large wager hoping to get much back. Iv'e stepped out side of that boundary set forth on rare occasions. Tonight would be one of them FOR ME. I have made a substantially large sized wager on this game for myself, yes. So yes I have stepped outside my boundaries this evening. Every now and then it's ok IMO to do so as long as you don't let it suck you in...

K thanks Odds. I'm just wondering. I'm on the other side but I read everything you guys said. I don't like the Magic and don't like betting on them. It's just this line that frightens me. It seems like OKC is the obvious pick without looking at stats. I think this line is close and it will be a good game. I don't see a blowout on either side. BOL

Why do people keep pointing out that Orlando lives and dies by the jump shot? So does Okc, and Orlando is leading the league in 3 point percentage and has the upper hand at the Center position. As far as Davis is concerned he's a better back up center than Mohammed.
Because those people would be 100% correct. It's not how many of or at what % do they make of them (3pt shots). But more so how many of their pt's that they score as a whole actually come from shooting jump shots and the Orlando Magic are a significant leader in that department as i said before that 33% of their point's point's scored come from the 3 pointers.

For example: The 2 teams ahead of them in 3pt% Miami & San Antonio both are below them in % of 3pt made of scoring. Miami is 23rd @ 17.2% & San Antonio is 4th @ 24..2%. This tells me with out even watching a game that both Miami & San Antonio do things very differently as teams. However if there is a team that is more predicable than any other right now it's the Orlando Magic as they are also #1 in the NBA in 3pt shots attempted per game at 26.4 as San Antonio is slated 8th at 20.2 & Miami can't be found until 25th at 14.9 3pt shots per game. Of course i watch these games but if you can't see the predictability in that, then you must not be a wagering veteran. Just saying, because there truly is no team more predicable than the Orlando Magic right now and it's right here for us on both paper and the TV...

One thing iv'e learned myself over the years is to set this aside. You can find the young ones using words like "scared money don't make money", and there is some truth to that. Because if they are actually capping the game they are betting on sometimes a line or spread shouldn't scare you away from making a wager. I also hate movement on number's after a wager is placed unless a significant injury or serious event has forced the move. I met too many people over the years to understand that line movement is intended to create confusion. The less you pay attention to it and the more you cap games the better off you will be moving forward. Once iv'e capped a game then I will decide if I am smart enough to decide which way the number may go. If I think waiting is best, than I will do that. If I feel that snagging early can solidify a better number I will surely do that as well. I'm wrong on many occasions on that matter but as long as my win % stays where it should be than I could care less...

Where do you see this game total points wise? How much you see OKC winning by???

I definitely understand your point and respect it. I've been burned many times on lines that seem to be "To good to be true" I do look at stats but I look at lines more. I have said in my recent posts. I think there are lines that are put out that when looking at them a person has an immediate reaction. Well when this happens i bet the otherside. Call it goofy or weird or whatever but there is a lot of truth to it. We all can go back and look at wagers we have fell in love with because the line looked too easy. We bet on it and lost. Not every night will you see these lines indicating lines are sharp or right on. Every one is different and different games will stand out based on knowledge of conference, team, matchup, etc... I have had early success so far. It might be far fetched but it works for me. I know this much tonight. One of us will come out a winner lol BOL

If Jameer is injured and can't play the 2nd half Okc wins. But if he can continue I think Orlando wins.

I bought my bet out @120 OKC. Orlando falls apart if Jameer is out for the rest of the game.

Can't see too much Jameer does or doesn't do being a big difference in this game. He seems to be doing his job at a moderate level. I'm sure Chris Duhon can keep that going. I'm more concerned on the 3 ball falling at a high rate or not in the 2nd half. My take is if the Magic were a better team they wouldn't have allowed OKC to drop 50 in a half where they're not, scary!!!

Dwight Howard is doing one of his best impressions of a whale at the moment where he opens his mouth and swallows up everyone on the court...

Hedged at halftime because I was unsure if Nelson was going to come back for the 2nd half. Got the Orlando line @ -105 and the Okc @ +120 so I'll lose a bit of juice with the loss but had Nelson not come back OkC would of won this game. I remember watching that game that Orlando lost to the Hawk were they played without him and they are a completely different team without him.
