yeah no shit spurs still had timeout even if spurs get ball with 1 sec that&#x27;s enough for a 3 and then u are losing the game in regulation, the smart play is to foul the the spurs player right when he catches the ball just tackle him

You do know that in the NBA if SA gets the rebound on the missed FT, they call time-out immediately, and get to inbound the ball at half-court, right.

So, if he misses the FT, and SA gets rebound, they call TO, and get the ball at HC with 1.5secs left instead of 1.7. If he misses the FT, then the 3pt shots beats Mem in regulation.

Not sure why you want him to miss the FT. A make, and the worst case is OT. He misses a FT, the worst case is a SA win in regulation.
