Lebron won't get any help

Lebron is in a world of trouble next season, this solitifies that he is going to New York. Nike said that if he ends up in NY or LA  then his contract with them doubles. We all know that Lebron wants to be the first billionaire athlete. My question is who else is out there, that wants to sign a 1yr deal like Shaq?

Actually I think he knows hes not gonna be the first billionaire athlete...its gonna be Tiger Woods obv! And who cares if he go to New York anyway, he won't win a title there neither! Please  tell me why ppl really think if he goes to New York hes goona win a title? With a non-defensive coach?

I agree.  Who is the last player to be drafted #1 in the NBA draft that won a title?
 
To me, when you are drafted #1 in the NBA, you are going to a crappy team or a crappy city or a crappy management team.
 
That's the black hole that LBJ is in......he is not in a good city that players want to play in and does not have a championship caliber team/roster that he is playing with that can defeat the other eilte teams in the league.
 
LBJ will have a career similar to Barkley and Karl Malone....major stats, break records, but when never be on a team that will be able to dominate another GREAT team in the NBA.

samuelsosa has been muted by me with all of his nonstop ramblings that for some reason require multiple posts.

LeBron is very capable of winning it all in Cle. The last 3 yrs they have lost in the Finals, then to the Celtics who won it all, then in the Conference Finals. Not like they've been 1st or 2nd round losers every year. Not that far off.

But if he does leave it will be to a much established team with better players than NY or NJ could offer.

I think he and Wade could both bolt for the Nets in 2010.  Nets could easily afford it and James would be with his buddy Jay Z.

With the month of July winding down, it appears that the Cavs decided to:

1. acquire Shaq

2.  acquire Parker from Toronto

3.  acquire Moon from Miami

4.  resign Verajah

5.  part ways with Petrovic and Ben Wallace

Overall, it appears that the Cavs got better.  Only problem is so did about 4 or 5 other teams.

It will be interesting to see how the NBA season plays out next year.

Duncan is correct.
 
Funny thing though, is that although based on the prior season performance, the Spurs had a terrible record, BUT that was mainly due to the fact that DAVID ROBINSON was hurt during that season.
 
If David Robinson [NBA MVP/Defensive Player of Year/Leader of Team] had been healthy, the Spurs was a playoff team.
 
When they acquired Duncan and Robinson was healthy the follwing year, the Spurs had a drastic turnaround witht their NBA Regular Season Win total when comparing the season PRE Duncan [+ Robinson hurt] to the next season when Duncan was there and Robinson healthy.
 
The spirit of my point is that LBJ has a lot of expectations that was placed on him to get a title quickly when he went to a crappy team that was not all that good at all.
