At some point we have to stop pretending this is complicated.
The Knicks have won 13 straight playoff games. They’re up 2-0 in the Finals. They just walked into San Antonio and stole both games. Now they get to come home to a Garden crowd that has been waiting 27 years for this moment.
And let’s not forget: the Spurs haven’t beaten the Knicks in New York since 2019.
The Knicks aren’t acting like a team that’s comfortable either. No victory laps. No celebrating. Just the same message every night: stay humble, keep fighting, finish the job.
Meanwhile the Spurs have to walk into MSG with an entire city ready to explode.
Could I lose?
Sure.
Could a meteor hit Madison Square Garden during warmups?
Also sure.
But I’m not betting against this team right now.
