All these are relying on Orlando coming out with energy and actually care, otherwise I am hosed. It feel like Magic need a big game before they hop the plane tonight to Berlin for the NBA Berlin/London games. They shit the bed at home vs Philly Fri and barely slipped by Nets in Bkn before that. I'm kind of a conspiracy nut when it comes to what the League wants/needs but traditionally they send teams across the pond with either significant wins or high scoring games. Hosting Pels is just what the doctor ordered. I love Pels coming off a win where they held their opponent to under 110pts. I love Magic coming off a low scoring home loss. I think Bane has a monster game against the undersized McGowens, Bane is a beast. He is used to playing Pels from his days w Memphis and what I've noticed is he goes off against West teams and the games tend to be high scoring. All these factors fit the bill. If one team no shows I'm DOA but taking a shot anyhow. 125-118 Magic
over 234.5
Orl -6.5
Bane 25+ pts +185
Magic TT over 120.5
Things I've never seen yesterday, a 90pt 4th qtr that's not an All-Star game (Wolves/Cavs), a team get 4 FT the entire game (Spurs/Celts) and a 50pt blowout where both teams ran 2nd half until the final whistle and scored 130 2nd half points. I kept watching the 4th qtr total and wanted to bet the under and it started at 55.5 and kept going up to 61.5 which surprised me in a blowout and w 3min left and 41 total point it bumped up to 62.5 and I was like they are really going to score 21+ in last 3 min and sure enough they did, glad I laid off. Back in the day at CBS SportsLine's NBA thread, there was the Blowout Theory where a team blowing out another team at half (20+) the 2nd half went under at a high clip. No more as bench players want that contract. Did Pacers get over the hump w that 1000 win for Carlisle or is this fool's gold?
