Is the WNBA prone to rigging because of low salary?

After losing $2,000 on Djokovic vs Nadal (can't believe I fell for that "trap" that Djokovic would beat him easily) ...  I chased & placed a $2,250 bet on Under 162.5 and 163.5 on last night's game - it ended with 161 points reaching 131 pts at the end of the 3rd and scoring only 30 pts in the 4th to make these bets - winning bets, to my surprise:

if I google search "WNBA Salary" I see this:

In 2020, the top WNBA base salary was $215,000; in 2019, the top WNBA base salary was $117,500.

Now,

I see, yes, a bet of over $2,000 can win here, but still, I noticed so many times the games end so close to the total figure, the totals last night were 158.5 and 162.5 before tipoff and these both ended with 160-161 pts.

Is there a possibility that a league like this can be rigged/bribed etc. because these players don't earn those millions that NBA players make?

Next. Do you even understand how booking houses work, and the amount wagered on WNBA games. Let me put it this way. Vegas casinos don't even give a shit about NBA games. With illegal booking houses, offshores, and now legit sports wagering in so many states, basketball, NBA basketball, is more of a thing. It's a bigger part of the nut but there is not a single booking house in the world, Vegas, offshore, Caesars DK, whoever, that gives two shits about the WNBA. And you are asking if it's prone to rigging because of salary. Maybe it is prone to rigging because other volume is so fucking low that booking houses could know good and well that athletes are being bought, and they wouldn't been give a shit.

This. There was a time when the houses had very number sharp mofos who crunched and spit out numbers. And they were good numbers. Now it's all computers and algorithms that still get it wrong all the time. It's just that nobody pays attention when they get it wrong. They look at all the times these advanced computers, these advanced algorithms get it right, and then they ask, "He's, you think it's rigged." I guess what I'm saying is maybe WNBA games are rigged. No booking house cares because their volume is so low. Not only that. Try to walk into.a casino and drop 200K on a WNBA game. Try to walk in and drop 5K. You think that shit just flies? Already got the answer to this now. I love Iga and have won with her in the past couple years but while we're on the subject of rigging, women's tennis is notorious, specifically when involving Eastern Europeans. Iga is polish, so that's borderline but organized crime really controls many if those athletes. It's a different beast over there. Even many Soviets in American leagues, NHL, NBA, have to pay tribute to the mob over there. You don't hear about it because they no better than to make a big about it but there has been stories about it in years past.

I’d say no. It’s tough to rig a game where the girls miss layups and 6foot jumpers when they are trying. It’d be like trying to rig a pee wee soccer game. Plus have you noticed the WNBA ball has extra air in it like a beach ball? Weak arms.

Fixing is all about risk vs Reward. .Why would an WNBA player risk her career to fix a game to win what? How much could she possibly make by fixing a WNBA. The handle on those games is just not big enough where if someone managed to be able to bet a fixed side numerous times it would raise huge red flags and be investigated.  Reason why there are limits on bets.  so someone would have to make 20-30 wagers on a fixed side with different books to make it worth while..after a so many small bets the lines would move....
