If you think MJ is all class off the court, you're either on your knees in front of him right now - or you haven't got a fucking clue. MJ was the greatest basketball player that ever lived. He was (and is) also a major asshole off the court. And he's proven to be the worst owner in the NBA in terms of putting together a winner - he makes Donald Sterling look like a cross between the Buss family and Red Aurbach...

First of all, #24 was kobe's number all throughout childhood and school, it was his way of "starting over" after the shaq era, pressing the reset button if you will. Second of all, Jordan was the biggest asshole both on and off the court. Just go pull up his hall of fame speech to prove my point. Third of all, none of kobe's biggest fans will tell he is better than Jordan, rather it is Kobe's haters that bring up the comparison all the time as if to minimize Kobe's accomplishments. Kobe is in his 16th year in the league playing at this high level. Is he still unstoppable Kobe? Does he have to be? Not even Superman can do what he has done with that amount of mileage. I wouldd love to see Lebron/durant/ etc in their 16th year, hell D wayde is already breaking down. Forget the numbers, forget the records, forget the rings, forget the fact that he carried a team of scrubs (luke, kwame, smush parker??) to the playoffs,Kobe is yet even one of the biggest philanthropist athletes there is, he gives tons to many organizations and charities here in orange county where he lives without any press.

lebron couldnt hold kobes jockstrap, on or off the court (cue "im taking my talents to southbeach"), hes a mental midget and in a few years that bulldozer will start breaking down as most of his game consists of simply bulldozing his way to the basket. I remember a young Tmac was once being spoken off as Jordans replacement and will be "way better than kobe"...he broke down quick too. The only guy I can see that will match Kobes production maybe Durant, a guy with finesse who can dominate you from the perimeter.

“I
don’t give a [expletive] what you say,” Bryant told Yahoo! Sports late
Friday. “If I go out there and miss game winners, and people say, 'Kobe
choked, or Kobe is seven for whatever in pressure situations.' Well,
[expletive] you.
“Because
I don’t play for your [expletive] approval. I play for my own love and
enjoyment of the game. And to win. That’s what I play for. Most of the
time, when guys feel the pressure, they’re worried about what people
might say about them. I don’t have that fear, and it enables me to
forget bad plays and to take shots and play my game."
