Your best bet is to bet Knicks alt spread -8 or higher, it will be a blowout.
If it’s a close game, Spurs ML will cash.

He's suggesting that you avoid taking either -2.5 or +2.5 and avoid the juice.
Being down 0-2 and now on the road, Spurs should either win or in theory will foul themselves out of covering +2.5 and some if they're losing down the stretch out of desperation to not go down 0-3.
