Unlike yourself, favorite bettors never cease to amaze me. If Vegas thought the Clips had little to no chance of winning, they would have made the Hornets a double digit road favorite. Betting the Clips +5' or 6 takes balls, but betting the Hornets takes NONE. And when something seems to good to be true, it usually is.

Very well put. I just know that situations like this come about all season long.
Some teams underestimate their competition especially when they have a terrible record or have a star player out. They can't help it, we all have human minds. Just learn to anticipate the let-downs and the bullshit and you'll be cashing more often than not. I intentionally posted this thread to do exactly what I stated in post #1; get your opinions. But also for another reason... Often I come on this forum and see so many BS threads that influence peoples wagers with bullshit like lock, no way they'll lose, they gotta cover blah blah. When we see this prior to putting our own wager in it tends to influence what we previously intended and change your play.
If I caused one person to stay away from betting the sackless wager which was the Hornets ML or -5 then, mission accomplished. I don't post wagers and look for pats on the back but every now and then I post insighful shit or a random play here and there. Lets all get paid.

The older I got, the more knowledgeable I became as a gambler. It took getting burned so many times as a college kid and later as a young adult to finally realize that contrarian thinking is vital to winning at sports betting. If you cannot find a reason or two to take EITHER side, you are the sucker and the lazy, broke handicapper.
Winning for me comes along much more now than it did in the past, but gambling is still is very stressful and takes a LOT of discipline.
