Bator - Do you think you are the only guy to lose an NBA game that they thought was fixed? I got news for ya bud. I've been doing this for a long time, and the faster you realize that a lot of your wins were fixed also, the better off you will be.

You got 2 choices betting the NBA
    1. Bet and hope you are on the right side of the fix
    2. Don't bet the NBA

Either way, the crying over a game we know was fixed is OLD. Get over it dude.

You got 2 choices betting the NBA
    1. Bet and hope you are on the right side of the fix
    2. Don't bet the NBA

Either way, the crying over a game we know was fixed is OLD. Get over it dude.

    Bator,

My question to you is "if" you were on the over and won your bet, would you have created the 2 threads on this topic or just posted a comment in someone else's thread about it only?

The game could have been fixed, we'll never know unless someone gets arrested and spills it but to say that the game was fixed because of the high number of foul calls between the 1st half and 2nd half is just .  Refs are human, they might have a mood swing or they just want to avoid allowing physical plays which may lead to another incident like the one in the LA/Port game.  May be they actually discussed among themselves on the amount of "miss-call" fouls and decided to call it tighter.  The main thing is that I just think they were pretty consistent with their calls in the 2nd half.

lol Bator i suggest to just retire from the 2 threads and move on, it's a lost cause. It's the internet everybody including the naive will have their 2 cents worth. Don't waste ya breath to prove a point to anybody here. As they say: "real heads know"

Bator you bring up solid point. I NEVER yell fix but something about that game didn't seem right. Ticky tack foul calls non stop.

With that being said, I just hope this doesn't open up pandoras box for the "FIX!" threads. A lot of morons around here who cry fix whenever ANYTHING bad happens to their bet. Granted fixed games are possible, but to see people making threads for 5 games a night gets ridiculous.

Hungry11, it's not just my bet that I'm upset about it.  That's not even it.  I'm pissed off that this cheating is going on and these FUCKING SCUMBAG CROOK referees get away with it, and the league does nothing about it, and the Evil Lord Stern brushes any further suggestion of it under the rug of his huge Manhattan office at NBA headquarters on Park Avenue.

The integrity of the sport is supposed to be sacred, right?  Yeah, what a joke.

Started my own thread?  Probably not.  But I definetely would have been leaving sarcastic comments all over the place attacking the NBA for letting their referees pull this shit.  I've been fucked in this manner before, it'll undoubtedly happen again someday, and I can't believe so many guys around here are content to just shrug and bend over for the next referee-administered reaming.

One must ask themselves, turned a profit for who?

I have the answer to who fixed the overs.  Not the books, not the referee's (for themselves), and not the NBA.  Let's think about this... Depending on how wide spread the corruption is in referee business, it may only take a couple grand going to each referee to make this happen (I could afford this). Remember, people can be pretty fucking desperate, even NBA zebras. Plus, you'd be surprised just how easy it is to intimidate (put the fear of God in them) someone.

It was 1 party.  Either an organized crime group, or a handful of non criminal gamblers.  Its that simple.  How in the world could any book be in on this?? It would be to difficult for a book to say, "oh, I have lots of action on the unders, we need to call in the overs."  This is something that has to be planned out ahead of time and not on the fly.  I highly doubt the books are able to plan ahead on public perception on a line.
