GucciCapper needs to get back on track. What better way then taking a team that plays no offense???

As many as you know, GucciCapper has been auto-fade material for the last few weeks.  GucciCapper can't pick his nose, wipe his arse cleanly and even has trouble pouring his beers properly these days.  GucciCapper is in a prolonged slump and is hoping to finally get out of it tonight in the NBA.  

GucciCapper likes one play a lot on the board tonight and that is the Magic vs. Wizards game.  Out of all the games tonight, why are you focused on this game GucciCapper?  Here's why.

1) The Wizards can score with the best of them.  Even though they are a bit banged up, GucciCapper likes what GucciCapper sees on the offensive side of the ball.  On the contrary, the Magic can't score the ball.  With Vucevic still out, the Magic will have problems defending the paint.  GucciCapper expects the Wizards to put on an offensive clinic tonight with the Magic falling short on the offensive side.

2) Revenge.  The Magic held off a furious rally from the Wizards two weeks ago in Orlando.  Look at the difference in the starting lineup for the Magic now from then.  No Vucevic and no Aminu.  The Wizards scores 121 in a losing effort with those players.  With them out, expect the Wizards to put up roughly 135 today.

3) A focus on Defense.  Giving up 150 points in a NBA game is embarrassing.  GucciCapper expects the Wizards to play a bit better defensively today against an offensively challenged team.  Scott Brooks will have his team focused for this two game homestand.  GucciCapper expects the Wizards to actually play a bit of defense after that embarrassing effort in Los Angeles.

4) Home sweet home.  The Wizards are finally back home after a long road trip where they missed Thanksgiving with their families.  Don't get too comfortable Washington.  You are only home for two games and the next game is against the 76ers.  Expect a focused attack tonight.

5) The Magic are downright horrible on the road.  The Magic are 1-7 on the road with their only win coming against Cleveland.  GucciCapper always likes a team that has to go on the road for ONE game and then goes back home.  The Magic played two games at home and then now have to leave the comforts of Orlando to fly up north.  Right after the game, they have to get back to Orlando for a back to back against Phoenix.  GucciCapper expects the Magic to sleepwalk thru this game.

So there you have it boys.  GucciCapper is going to try to get back on track today with the Washington Wizards -2.

Hang in there Gucci, I got your back as you lay yourself out there with reasoning everytime. My one piece of advice on NBA is to look at your statement:

and that should send off a red flag as Wiz only -2 instead of maybe -5. Orl missing those 2 players now on the road and getting 2 smells bad. Hope you take this as constructive criticism and not Monday morning quarterbacking as you make this place entertaining, especially when you win.

You'll be on top soon again like you were with Clemson but NBA is a girl and needs deep capping  and luck to win constantly

Many of these NBA games with small lines such as this one Tonight at -1 are coin flip games where one team is not clearly better than the other team. Just flip a coin and pick.

Horrible cap.  Didn't help that Bryant was ruled out 5 minutes after placing my bet.  Didn't realized it until after GucciCapper posted this write up.  Who knows if that would have mattered, but down all 3 centers would have been a red flag.

@straightwagers - Well noted.  GucciCapper totally agrees with the criticism.  

Alright boys, GucciCapper is going to take a breather.  GucciCapper apologizes to everyone who's been tailing these last two weeks.  

Hope things get turned around soon.
