I manage a group of Filipinos, and one thing I must say is that most of them are very caring and generous. One thing they do that bothers the Fuck out of me is that they wan't to snich on everyone about the most ridiculous things. This also includes snitching on there own kind. I don't know if this is a culture thing or just the group I work with are different.

I think it is a cultural thing that i suspect dates  back or was picked up during there period of colonization ..  everyone taught to bag on the next to come up under the colonizers system ....

i worked for a Bio tech firm and almost very one of the flipino's where snitchs ..or would talk bad about others behind there back .. . and someone i know that works in the nursing field said the same thing .. . and you are right ... they will even snitch on there own if it advances there own cause/position ... not PINOY  bachin .. just  a observation ... that turned into a generlization ...

You meant "...serving women is not a gay thing" (jeez, you have an adjective without a noun).  Forget your grammar problems. If you're bragging about machismo being defined as having servile and meek women to serve you, and if that's generally true in your culture, then there's something seriously wrong with Filipino culture and people.

I had Pinoy neighbors in San Francisco. I think they call it "crab mentality," after the way crabs supposedly pull each other down from the box where they're stored, while attempting to escape themselves—and in the process get pulled down by other "crabs."  It's a ridiculous analogy if you ask me, but then that's a cultural truism, I heard.
