First Mavs -6.5 2nd half and to win game +390
My plays are both fades of New York. I didn't watch that X-Mas Day game but from the comments it seemed like Knicks got some critical calls and 4pt plays. I lost a couple bets by the hook. Seems that every year teams that play on the road Xmas Day game then stay on the road have a bounce back (thus my Mavs 2nd bets). I really like Cavs in this spot as aside from the shenanigans in the Garden, Cavs are playing well. If Hou can come off a long roadie where they went to Denver twice (!) and the capped it off with a beatdown of Lakers in LA then come home to see their families for their own Christmas yesterday and have the focus to face a pissed off Cavs team, I'll tip my hat but that's a tall ask.
Cavs +3.5 and ML +130
At some point the extra Cup games and travel has to catch up w New York. Knicks have been staging major 2nd half comebacks and winning big games, the tank has to be close to running on fumes. Meanwhile, Trae has come back to mess the chemistry up with the Hawks 0-5 since he came back, he hasn't won a game that's gotta stick in his craw. I wish they'd bring him off the bench like NO w Zion that'd be the smart move. I do think there's a remote possibility Knicks don't want to face a team that will run all night long. This feel like a huge game for Jalen Johnson w one of Knicks best defenders Hart out. Hold my nose...
Hawks +5.5 and ML +185

I think at this point, as soon as Trae is announced out of the line-up (or coming off the bench c'mon Coach make that unpopular move!) I have to slam Hawks. Unfortunately, their upcoming schedule is brutal, but they'll be big dogs so it could work out.

The Cavs no show is concerning. Is there something wrong w the relationship w the coach, front office? Any B League team woulda gave Hou a fight with the sched Hou just went thru. Hmmm ![]()

it'd suck to be Trae Young right now, except for the guaranteed $43m contract...now they go on a brutal stretch in next 30 days that defines their season starting at OKC where they will be dogs in every game except home against Pels..if Trae breaks his leg or drinks some potion that makes hime a team player there's ATL money to be made or lost

@yorosan
which my friend is an anomaly for teams that lost on Xmas day BUT, and this is really important, no teams have done the schedule like this year which was most teams playing b2b and 3rd in 4 nights...that is huge and leads to the results...I'm a motivation/behavior/situation capper at best, when it comes to regular season day after day I'm a donkey

I hit multiple + 220+300 bets over the Cup/Xmas schedule and cashed out nicely and if I continued would ladder Hawks over next 5 games, but I've been doing this long enough to know that's how I dig a huge hole so am out...I'll tail other cappers from here on out as that motivational window has closed for me

@StraightWagers
You’re a smart dude SW. love your thoughts and you’re right, the grind is so hard regular season. Maybe towards end of season as playoff scenarios shape up or playoffs.
Always appreciate your thoughts ![]()
