All the injury reports have him as questionable - it looks like Philly is waiting to see how he responds at thr shootaround, etc. Yet, the books have the game priced for an Embiid, @ Philly -1.5. Also, there are props for the big guy, and the props on the other players (eg Maxey o/u pts @ 24.5 vs the 26.5 for gm. 2) reflect that Embiid is expected.
Do the books know something other the what's on the official reports? Can anybody explain this?

How many points do the books think he's worth? They have Embiid pegged at 3 - 3.5.
No props for OG. Hamstrings are tough, it would be unusual to see one get healed enough to play w/i 48 hrs. I could see an observer leaning toward him being out.

Embiid doesn't care. Over there, laughing on the bench while his team is down 40 points… He just wants his damn paycheck… we won't see him again. This brings me back to the last series, when Embiid came back, 76ers looked very out of sorts for the first game… everyone passed the ball to embiid so he could take a mid range shot or attempt to get to the rim. it didn't fare well… I was thinking, this team is better without him… sure he pitted up big numbers, got a lot of rebounds, but it's still lost horribly... I think the line is fair, I think 76ers have a chance to take this one. Especially since they got a chance to play without him for a bit and get acclimated with Maxey being the number one guy

Knicks up 2-0 can wait on OG. Sixers need Joel...season on the line tonight
Yeah, but the Sixers aren't going to play him if it may jeoparize his participation in the rest of the playoffs. What was confirmed for me from my reading, OG, with the injury he has, is not likely to play. It looks to me that the books are hedging their bets on Embiid. If he plays, I think the line will go to 3; if he's out it'll go to pick.

OG won’t play 3 or 4…probably not 5 either. It is mild but knicks probably will be conservative since it’s a repeat offence and he is CRITICAL assuming pistons advance.
