The whole premise of this topic is ridiculous. How many teams have given up 100 points while also outscoring their opponents by 4.9 points a game. In the last 10 years, only 4 teams have done that.
Phoenix did it 3 times and the 2008 Lakers did it. The 2008 Lakers made it to the finals. So in actuality, the key stat on this number is 1-4. I suppose you could argue that similar teams have a 25% chance at making the finals, but that would be silly on so many levels.
BTW, defense wins championships is a silly little cliche. I've never heard anyone give a serious argument behind it. The key is that you need to outscore your opponent. You can win 80-79 or you can win 120-119. It really doesn't matter. If you score more, you win...

i definitely agree, Lakers BIGS will dominate the Phoenix Suns BIGS. And Steve Nash will be held in check by Shannon Brown or Fish will tackle Steve Nash. The Lakers are a tough match-up for the Los Suns. -250 Lakers to win the WEST is definitely an easy $1000, just like you said.
when I saw -250. I had a feeling it would be -350 or higher by the time the finals started so I jumped on it. I still think there's no way I lose this bet So in the end the bad price is not going to matter on this wager. It's still going to me
