Insider, so far good money on Bos sp and ml. Line moving Bos way. How does that normally end from your experiences?
What are you fishing for here? Yes the majority of the money is on Boston so they went from Philly -1 to Boston -1. That's the correct movement
Yeah, slight movement towards Boston. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary from what I see. Boston seems to be the public play tonight, although I definitely think you have to take any reporting of betting %s with a large grain of salt....

It could go either way. I actually think the public is very very much on Boston with only slight line movement (PK to -1 Boston). And so based on that I would put some weight towards Philly. Vegas will take a pretty big hit if Boston covers. But they take big hits all the time, and rake it in all the time from game to game. Despite the public betting on Boston, I still give them the slight edge. But like I said, would not be surprised at all if Philly wins.
Here's what has me thinking twice about laying quid on Philly. If my paid service is correct. Seems as though they are fairly solid with getting $ %'s over the years. The last 6 teams (games) that had the $ %'s on them have not covered the spread. I don't know if it goes 7 straight, or 6 out of 7 after tonight? This may sound worthless, but using these numbers has treat me pretty good over the decades.
Fair enough, the trend of $% teams losing will be broken sooner or later. But I thought you said you have never paid for a service, never will, and win and lose on your own terms? I have the memory of an elephant.

I think line movement is one factor in making a pick and one factor only. Line movement can be caused by many different things (overwhelming public money, sharp money, injuries, books messing with your head, etc.). I think the key is determine why the line is moving and using it as one factor in your decision-making.

Insider, I agree. It's one integral part of a system I've devised. I've done really well with it winning % wise, but have struggled with money mgt/tilting from time to time.

Tough game so NO BET Celtics havent lost at home YET and the 76ers coach sucks in the playoffs from what I can see, they just shoot stupid 3s far too much and that plays right into Bostons hands. Philly blew at least one game in Boston and I can see them winning and I can sure see them losing

That’s right. If the Sixers win it’s because it was part of the script and ESPN told the Celtics to lose the game. Sucks for them to have to go out and act and lose a game.

if sports wagering becomes legal across the board, commissioner Silver already stated it wants it to be known the NBA wants its share of % of all money wagered on anything related to and with the NBA...it is no longer as I quote a Kevin Costner movie "For the Love of the Game".... it is for the love of the money..... and money dictates everything... in the sports world among others....

TV contracts. That's where the majority of any of the major sports' revenue comes from, college or pro. How does the women's field hockey team pay for their girl's uniforms, trips, scholarships, ect.? They're paid for by the lucrative TV contracts for football and men's basketball.
