CLIPPERS VS MEMPHIS-4. PLEASE THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS IS MORE THEN WELCOME

This is a tough one both teams are playing good ball right now but in a big game like these I try and keep it simple. Clippers are a .500 road team and the Grizz like most good NBA teams have a solid 19-7 record @home. Motivation should not be an issue as both of these teams are playoff-bound and this game is a double-revenge spot for the Grizz after losing twice to the Clippers in LA. Randolph is questionable after getting in a car wreck this morning but he has been coming off the bench and hasn't been as productive as he was before injury so it doesn't affect my bet much.

Clippers are fun to watch when teams let them get alley oops and easy fast break buckets but the Grizz are a well disciplined team who thrives on defense. Their goal is to not give up easy dunks and buckets to Griffin and Jordan because then they have to rely on CP3, Foye and Butler for offense from the perimeter. However, I just read Tony Allen is still doubtful for today's game and he is the Grizz' best perimeter defender and the heart of their team. I think the Tony Allen injury is the one to monitor but the way Memphis plays good solid D and has balanced scoring on O I think I like them even without Tony Allen playing.

Clippers +4 and ML.

Grizzlies are a great revenge team and one of the most mentally tough teams in the league.  However, they just endured a ridiculous stretch of 7 games in 9 nights.  Not only did they go through that stretch but they finished with some big wins over Miami and then the Mavericks to win the season series with the Mavs and move 2 games ahead of the Mavs.  The Grizzlies got a complete day off for Easter yesterday and many of the players were relieved to get some rest.  Now they are expected to turn the switch back on and immediately get up for another bruising team with Blake Griffin.  The Grizzlies almost ran out of gas in their Mavs win but had just enough to hold on.

I think the Clippers care about this win more than the Grizzlies do as Memphis knows they can go into Staples and beat this team.  The Clippers will be confident on the road after throttling Dallas last week and they are going in for the series sweep, something they haven't done in a while.

That's what I'm gonna be on tonight.  Always tough to fade Grizz in Memphis but I think tonight's the night.
