The Cavs, on Tuesday, were playing their 12th game in 23 days; that's a heavy workload, and add in the extra intensity of the postseson. They ran out of gas in the 4th qtr., and were running on funes the rest of the way and in OT. Thursday will be their 13th game in 25 days, and the fatigue situation won't be any better for them.
On the other side of the ledger, the Knicks had 8 days off before Tuesday's game, so they will have no such fatigue problems. Knocks, from the 4tth game of the Hawks series on (with the exception of 3+ qtrs. on Tues.) look like a team on the mission. Not that they are immune to flat spots, as we just saw, but having just gone through that, it's back to the work at hand.
