I work as an internet marketer and consult companies using social media. Obviously I think it's a amazing tool for business when used right but what about for sports betting?
Yesterday morning I was all over Twitter to see if I could get updates on Melo's status. Surely enough a few people Tweeted he was a go about 25 minutes before tip.
Right now I am looking on Twitter to see any Nuggets players Tweeting about what time their leaving Milwaukee. Surely enough Gallo posted 2 hours ago their at the airport.
I have also come across a few cappers (professional an amateur) who share good insight over Twitter. This forum has it's moments but their is a lot of shit on here due to a lack of moderation. I understand you want to vent about your shitty bet but you're fucking up what could be an even better resource.
Another thing I came across last year was the ten before tip blog that the NBA updates. They let you know who's in and out about 30 minutes before a tip.
With all this said, I wanted to see if anyone else uses Twitter or other internet resources to help with their capping? It can give you a better look behind the scenes of injury updates and teams travel schedules. Is that enough to gain a slight advantage over the books or are the books already on top of this?
Would like to hear your thoughts on this.
