@DialedCapper I know one thing, This Championship finals will not be on any Greatest NBA finals highlight reels. This was up there for one of the most sloppy and ugly series I've seen in years. For GSW a ring is a ring but this was a site for sore eyes. If you weren't betting on any of these games besides maybe the first one, You'd turn these games off quick. Maybe it's why the Rating weren't good at all......
This team gets bodied by the 2019 Warriors... 2019 Warriors is the best roster ever and only lost cuz the NBA is scripted.. This team missed the playoffs last year... They add Klay and then win it all and people tell me this sport isnt scripted, hahaha... If the NBA wasnt fixed, the Finals would have been Nets vs Lakers... The League scripts LA to miss the playoffs, Leonard to miss the whole season, and the Suns to lose to the garbage Mavs.. Both LA teams are better than GS and so is PHX but in the scripted NBA, the Warriors faced none of those teams... The NBA can script anyone to look miles better than they actually are..

KD Warriors still better. You're showing recency bias. I don't think a team in history could've beat that team when healthy. That team would've 3peated if Durant doesn't get hurt. They would've then resigned him, and probably 6peated. Maybe that Milwaukee team pulls one out.

He probably leaves because he knew he could never leave Steph's shadow in the Bay but when you win, it puts pressure on you to run it back. He would have had to think about it but that's if he doesn't get hurt. Klay doesn't get hurt. Lots of ifs.
I don't think this is the best Warriors team of the run but it's the more special, and most unlikely. The team that won it's first, then lost to Cleveland, was a young core surrounded by veterans. Now the core are the veterans. Iggy was essentially a coach. And you have these kids contributing. GP2's story is special. Jordan Poole... Do you realize this team is probably gonna have to give Jordan Poole 190 million this summer? He was a 28th overall pick and struggled his first couple years. Andrew Wiggins. Nobody wanted Andrew Wiggins. He's got one year left in the Bay, then he'll get an insane max from someone.

I'll say this. As Warriors fans, some of us like to believe titles were guaranteed. We look at the 73 win team and say, "We we're gonna win regardless of KD." I'm a Warriors lifer and a student of the game. This is what I always say about the addition of KD from a basketball perspective.
The Golden State Warriors during the dynasty have never had a dominant post presence. And while this team, and Kerr's motion offense when it's clicking, it's greased lightning. It's magic on a basketball court. We saw it again last night. The right pass, to the right pass, to the right shot, and these guys look symbiotic. However, this offense can also hit lulls. And when it hits lulls, and because it's predicated on multiple passes, throwing passes to where you anticipate a guy to be, not to where he is, it can lead to high turnovers, transition buckets, and games going the other way in the blink of an eye. When runs like this happen, you need that easy bucket guy to stop the bleeding. You need easy, two foot post up buckets to stop the bleeding. The Warriors never had that. When Kevin Durant came, his mid-range jumper was essentially a lay up. He's so tall and long, such a pure shooter that you give up a 10-0 run, and need to stop the bleeding, he could shoot a mid-range over just about any defender.
