Once again, ANYONE who argues Kobe is/will go down as the better overall player needs to have his head examined and should be immediately checked for mental retardation.

Don't ever mention Lebron and MJ in the same sentence, unless maybe it is Magic, and even then...don't!

If Jordan was built like LeBron he would still be playing, lol.
LeBron is an athletic freak, not an all time great clutch player.

Lebron drove, had a good look and passed, he wasn't afraid of refs he was afraid of missing, dude ain't clutch. Don't ever compare this guy to prime Kobe.....let's not even get to Jordan.

Yes and let's compare Kobe's perimeter and difficult time expiring fg % to lebrons....it'll be something like 45 to 25.....lebrons 49percent is largely inflated due to his charging and easy layups and dunks.....come on doggggggg.....keep it real....

Rangerz imo i have him 4. But i dont think its far fetched at all. If everyone has jordan 1 and kobe and jordan were basically identical players then yea i can see where someone can say hes 2. Ive heard plenty of people who have said that if u swapped kobe with jordan on that bulls team then people would say kobe was #1. And i can honestly see that argument. Im not saying kobe is better im just saying its not crazy. Kobe was better than jordan in a few things. Better ball handler. Better shooter. Both elite defenders. Both great post games. Both clutch. Both killer instinct. There are few things jordan could do that kobe couldnt. My list is MJ. Kareem. Wilt. Kobe. Bird. Magic. Russell. Duncan. Oscar. Lebron. And yes kobe is ahead of bird and magic. Those guys are overrated because the rivalry and how they basically saved bball. Lebron imo can definitely make top 3 when said and done if he stays on course

This dude is such a Lebron hater. LOL  If he shoots and misses, he starts a thread, "Lebron doesnt pass to Bosh in the corner for a 3!"

    Haters gone hate.

Ok so Lebron beats him in every single category across the board, and you find a way to nitpick fg%. Carry on dude, carry on.

LeBron is a great physical specimen that pads his stats with layups (not on purpose, not his fault, it is just how he is built) because he is extremely athletic, but ask any LeBron lover in private who they would rather have the ball with a shot needed at the end of the game, and the answer is simple.

Rangerz in Kobes defense his numbers took a huge hit because he came into
Nba not ready at all and hardly player yet those number go against his career numbers. While lebron came in as a man and nba ready. So its difficult o go by career numbers. U can twist stats alot of ways. Kobe once avg over 35 6 6 in a season. Did lebron ever do that? Did lebron ever score 40+ in 9 str8 or 50+ in 4 str8?? Or score 81? They both have qualities that other couldnt do. But #8 in his prime was a bad bad boy and did things this league has

somehow a kobe jumper is better than a lebron layup? LOL

reminds me of everyone complaining about shaq dunking too much. if it's so easy why doesn't everyone do it every play? LOL

I get the young argument I really do. But if you are going to bring up the scoring feats, I'll bring up triple double feats. Lebron is a 4 time nba mvp and will win many more when he is done. Kobe has won ONE mvp, and is obviously not winning any more.

It's not close man, it's just not close.

For all you Kobe lovers who can ONLY argue he is more clutch than Lebron blah blah blah, here are actual facts why your one and only argument is NONSENSE:

    https://swishnba.com/2013/10/11/kobe-vs-lebron-whos-more-clutch/

    https://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/58575/lebron-james-isnt-clutch-think-again

So lets see, your one and only argument is invalid and wrong. What's next? Kobe is better looking?

People just have selective memory like Jordan didn't pass the ball to John Paxton and Steve Kerr to knock down the biggest shots to win those championships. Not gonna talk about Kobe havin Robert horry and Derrick fisher Hittin big shots

I was just wondering when Lebron pass the ball and Bosh or Allen or Battier or Cole or Chalmers makes the shot, the credit is more on the shooter. If they miss,,,its Lebrons mistake....btw,,,the last shot was a designed play by Spoe,,,the game was rigged,,,Lebron could easily make that shot,,,,,,see game 4....

John Paxson took the game winning shot in Games 6 of the 1993 finals when Jordan and the Bulls defeated Phoenix Suns in a closeout game.

Jordan actually started the possession off with the ball and then gave it up and the ball ended up in Paxon's hands for the game winning shot and he nailed it. So anyone who says Jordan would be taking the last shot in a closeout game is WRONG!!!!! Because Jordan did not take the last shot in a closeout game that was bigger than LBJ's game because it was the finals.

At the end of the day, when it comes to the last couple seconds, Kobe is more reliable with the ball than Lebron, I'm not going to get into statistics because lebron has better stats on paper. There is one major difference between the two player. Kobe has more confidence. Plain and simple. Lebron gets scared when he's pressured generally. Kobe has the balls to rely on himself when all the pressure is on him. He's fearless. We can talk about numbers all day, but the fact is i've seen them both play and kobe is emotionally sound in the game.

MJ and Magic would have possibly made the same play. Jordan would've dished to Paxson or Kerr and trusting his teammates.

Rings and clutch shooting is all that matters...Kobe over LBJ all day...I have one point to make, the USA men's team could not win the gold for like 8yrs and LBJ played on both those teams...Than Kobe joins the party and the USA wins t not one but two golds the next 8yrs...Kobe is a better leader, better clutch player and his will to win is second to only Jordan...LBJ will have the stats and all the Mvps that come with it, but he will never be in the same class as Kobe...Shut for LBJ to even win his titles he had to go to Dwades team and recuit Bosh to come, Kobe won back to back with his OWN team and a epic trade that brought Gasol to help him....
