Even if they are "fixed", its still 50%-50%. Hell it can even work out your way. So every time you think a game is fixed you are always on the wrong end? Or just because you are on the wrong end it must be fixed????? Come on now,,,,fixed or not its 50-50 and can go your way. I love people that cry about fixed games

I dunno dude... I've played parlay lottery tickets before that have different spreads than vegas and have lost by 1 point a couple times when they just dribbled out the clock and I've been choked about it too... it's just a part of the game though... You'll get the odd time when a team is up by plenty and will just decide to stick it to the other team and score a basket with 3 seconds left.

It just depends on the squad whos playing... It sucks to be on the losing end of that but plenty of times you've probably been on the winning side too.

Basketball is kind of lame that way...It's too heart breaking.

I suggest you give NHL wagering a shot... Way better than NBA

    I didnt lose.

    I enjoy betting.

But please, just put a % of how often the losing team runs out the clock rather than chuck up a shot.  Therebis no right or wrong answer..... I just want to hear your opinion.

Why does everyone keep sayin he lost and thats why is sayin fix. He said he won and still believes its fixed. Fixing games does exist. I dont know who does it or wen they do it but it definately occurs

    Sure that can happen.

Dont talk to me like im an idiot.....when i see shady garbage... I point it out.  When a game looks clean, i dont say anything.

If charlotte chucked a 3 there and missed...or took the free layup, i wouldnt be saying a word.....i would have given the oddsmakers credit for being sharp and this thread wouldnt exist.

But when i see something like that, im gonna try to bring it to light and voice my opinion.

If you bet charlotte at plus 11.5 you won and if you bet boston at minus 10.5 you won.. so who was the game "fixed" for?  any time a game comes within a .5 of the spread, somebody always starts a fix thread.. I would assume if there was a game that was indeed a fix I doubt that it would rest on a player having to make a shot in the last second.

Mr.Regan, its no use trying to save these people. Believe me, I tried but doing a post " if you think there's no fix in sports, you shouldn't gamble" all I got mosly are responses like these people. You do make money on these stupid games that you know for sure is going to get fix right? So without these young and naivue gambler, how are we going to make money? If everyone thinks like us, then the game won't be fixed, because everyone is on the wrong side. So I think just leave it alone and keep cashing for ourselves

Your only seeing what you want to see. if the fix was in why did the Cha player foul and put the fix at risk? The pointless foul and the dribbling out the clock contradict each other. Explain that since youve got it all figured out. Explain the contradiction in those 2 plays

    Yes thats correct.

Boy, this is really tough for you to grasp huh?

At this day in age i dont even cap games anymore....i pick my spots and look for fishy lines/fade public trap bets because i believe in fixes.

Believing in fixes has actually drastically improved my success in the wagering world.

Dont get me wrong, im on the wrong side sometimes as well.....no system is foolproof, but its definitely help me in the long run.  Significantly.

You have presented many good points. What you need to realise is, this place, when you present good valid points, if people cannot refute or defeat your arguments, they resort to ad hominem attacks (personal attacks). This is a clear indication that posters here dont have an answer, but get irritated, because you are ruining some sort of dream for them.

I think people here couldnt stand the thought of putting good earned money on a game, yet players laughing behind their backs at bettors who were on the wrong side of their play collectively.

I dont believe players lose games on purpose, i very very highly doubt that happens, do i believe players, refs and officials tamper with spreads from time to time? I think so.

If Charlotte's goal was to make sure Bos covered then they wouldve been fouling constantly in the last 90 seconds. But they didnt. And the late foul and dribbling out the clock negate each other as far as an over under fix. So, where was the fix?

Ok, heres my educated analysis of what i believe happened.

Charlotte was not supposed to foul there.  Celtics were supposed to run out the clock.

Unfortunately there was a foul to give the fix a sweat, tht wasnt supposed to happen.

Let me explain something to you, running out the clock is a sign of respect from the winning team.  Losing team not fouling is mutual respect by basically saying, good game you whooped our behind.

The losing team running out the clock should never happen.  Ever.  Thats not a sign of respect, thats called quitting.  What is thevworst thing that can happen if the losing team takes a shot there?  They miss? Celtics getbthe rebound and run out the clock?

There is a reason why the losing team NEVER runs out the clock..... Thats quitting.

And dont give me that ol " why shoot the ball, its ot gonna change the outcome"

If that was the case and all losing teams ran out the clock instead of scoring a meaningless basket the backdoor cover would not exist.

Takingnthe shot does not affectnthe outcome of the game..... But affects the outcome of what?  Fill in the blank......

    Ummmm the spread?

So Charlotte pointlessly fouling late wasnt supposed to happen? I thought the fix was in. You said it yourself. You are trying to have it both ways but you cant. Just answer, what was the fix? what was the final goal?  Bos cover, over, under, Cha cover? What was it?

Furthermore, i dont really believe players actually bet on the game themselves. This is what i believe happens.

Players are young , prime red blooded males at the peak of their manhood. They are on the road 50% of the time in plush hotels etc etc. They are away from their wives, kids, families etc etc.

I believe that while on the road, they get hookers, coke etc etc in their rooms. They get these from pimps etc etc. And in RETURN make a few promises. That way, their is no money trail and BOTH sides of the party have their balls in the vice.

I say this because here in Australia, this has happened, the way i described it. I dont have evidence that this is what happens in the states, but it wouldnt surprise me.
