All sports are rigged to a point and if you think otherwise you are a small minded idiot.

Point shaving is a crime for a reason. Because people and teams and players and refs do it. People have been caught doing it. The mob did it back in the 70 ' and admitted to doing. After openly admitting to point shaving police reviewed all games in question and they were unable to determine who was involved because people can easily miss shots, foul others and make mistakes all making them look like an accident. Your telling me if you were the leading scorer for a basketball team, your best friend was a sports better and you were about to play a team you were favored to beat by 25 you couldn't stop the team from covering that spread. Games don't need to be rigged to the point we're you are choosing who wins and loses but to easily not cover a giant spread against a shitty team by making it look like you had an off night is simple. And in this greedy world where the NFL acts as its own government and the NBA decides what trades can happen and what ones can't your telling me a multi billion dollar business isn't somewhat controlled. If so people in this world are pretty blind.

Don't worry I expect the comments saying I'm wrong, that could never happen. Even though an NBA ref went to prison for point shaving. A 70 ' mob admitted to rigging the Boston College games and shaving points. And if your stupid enough to believe those were the only 2 times it ever happened then I feel sorry for you.

Didn't bet any games tonight. Just sick of people on here saying no sport is ever fixed and then saying the only reason. People say it is fixed is because they lost. Do you know how many games I have won and then wondered how in the hell was that possible... way to many to count.

Sure there have been fixed games that has been well documented but its no where near the volume that covers members would have you believe where there are MULTIPLE fixed threads nightly..  

Agreed that all sports are fixed.  There will be people that will not agree but it does not make them STOOPID!!!  Maybe they're straight as an arrow type of people that believes in Santa Clause.  Or They just need time go get on board.

However I'm talking point shaving I'm games where it's like Kentucky -25 against some garbage team and Kentucky wins by 23 even though they were up 30 with a min to go. Games that wouldn't draw any attention. I feel the NFL would be very profitable for refs. Being able to take any points you want off the board by calling holding or illegal hands to the face. They say you could call holding on almost every play in the nfl. Would be very convenient if you could pick and choose those plays like refs could.

Do teams go out to lose? I highly highly doubt it.

Do some players and refs try and tamper with totals and spreads especially halves/qtrs.? I have no doubt in my mind. No doubt at all.

As sports betting continues to grow, it will just by default go into the hands of unsavoury people.
