Another great week last week hitting Tony at +1300 and hitting a threesome wager.
Moving onto Michigan.
Superspeedway: 2.0-mile D-shaped oval Banking: turns: 18 degrees; straights: frontstretch 12 degrees, backstretch 5 degrees Frontstretch Length: 3,600 feet Backstretch Length: 2,242 feet 73 feet wide with 10-foot apron in turns, 45 feet wide with 12-foot apron on straightaways Pit lane is 50 feet wide and contains space for 44 individual pit areas Pit Road Speed: 45mph Seating: 137,243, attendence: 153,000.
Jimmie Johnson is the favorite at +500 which is tempting seeing how this is on his short list of tracks that he has yet to win at.
Another track where starting position has proved to be important even though there are so many grooves on the track for passing.
Races won from the top 5: 51 of 79 - 64.6% Races won from the top 10: 62 of 79 - 78.5% Last June JR started 3rd but in the fall race edwards started 27th so take it for what its worth.
Roush Fenway has won at least one of the michigan races over the last 5 yrs.
My early play is...
Matt Kenseth +900...Kenseth has been running well all season long after starting off the season with 2 wins. His last 3 starts at michigan he has finished 5th 3rd and 4th. Kenseth leadsd all drivers in wins, top fives, and top 10s on 2 mile tracks since 2000. I just feel this team has been close and ready for another victory. On top of that he just had a new baby, what better way to dedicate a win to your new son.
Ive also played a smaller wager on Tony +1000...hard to pass on this guy being as hot as he is at this price

Jimmie Johnson +100 Over Kyle Busch...Pretty decent size play for me here. Kyle had a great qualifying lap but other than that has not been that impressive. Jimmie has been in the top 5 in average speed during all practice sessions with kyle not in the top 5 in any of them.
Lean towards kenseth +100 over biffle
Race Threesome Betting
Matt Kenseth +120 Over Denny Hamlin and Kurt Busch....Love this play here. Kurt has been complaining about the starter issues all weekend. You have a fenway at plus money.
Group Betting
Lean towards Hamlin or Bowyer +350 over kurt Busch Kasey KAhne and ryan newman
Johnson, Kenseth, Martin, Bowyer, Stewart, hamlin should all run very well today
Be back if I add anything else. Thoughts appreciated.

looks good, that JJ/Kyle play worries me, probably won't play that one myself. it opened at JJ-110 / kyle -120 , so it has moved up 10 cents from last night. Love the threesome bet as that should be an easy winner. GL today

Awesome pick last week SteakEggs. I'll never bet against Tony again even if they make him start from the parking lot. You deserve every buck you made with that pick.

by the way, here's why I like Ryan Newman at 22-1 odds today:
The 4th place driver in the Sprint Cup Standings had another excellent race as he finished 5th at Pocono. He’s driving exceptionally well but he hasn’t been able to quite get to victory lane just yet. With 2 victories at Michigan, this could be Newman’s turn.

Where do you guys go to get your stats? Seems like I jump around to several different sites to get different stats and was wondering if there is a better site that has everything consolidated.
While covers does well with other sports I think they drop the ball a little on NASCAR.
