Check out True Blood. Showtime series. I was never into any vampire shit ever, however, this show is pretty legit. Breaking Bad is good as well.
Same here.
Oh, and I need to mention two other shows that are top notch. I don't think there are well known here but if I had to compare them to something else, think of Ocean's 11.
Hustle ( on the BBC ) and the new show Leverage

Nice, I'll have to set up a series on the DVR for Hustle and Leverage. Always looking for something new. Thnx
Yeah, but keep in mind that Hustle is broadcast by the BBC so that strong accent might be surprising at first. Once I got though the British accent, the show was simply amazing. I finished all seasons of Hustle before checking out Leverage which is basically the American version of Hustle. If you like cons and scams, those two shows are a must watch. Aldis Hodge is so damn funny in Leverage.
Californiacation ... very underrated show. Probably why no one thought of it at first here but I'll agree with those that say it is a good show.

I think the funniest part is him injecting roids with a montage of a bunch of different color thongs on then lifting tiny weights. Also, the band teacher thats his assistant is comical.

Forgot about this one, BBC documentary series, this guy travels to cities around the world and investigates the deadliest gangs in the world. Check out the El Salvador and Rio Di Janeiro episodes.
Big Ballin' since '02
