I really thought Deadwood sucked. The main character is a douche and there is never a big climax. Liked the historic elements though. I am the only person I know that doesn't love this show lol

can't change all the hooplehead's minds out there.

I think you're definitely in the minority there - I've rarely even encountered someone who was indifferent about the show, let alone hating it. What about Rome? you ever catch that one?

i did watch rome. it was pretty good. but it was no deadwood.
