You misquoted. It's "Time to bring the bats tonight". Easy mistake.
I just hope Colon and Garcia can handle themselves against a lineup like the one the Sox have at Fenway. They have been great for us this year but THESE are the games that mean more.

Plenty of other much better and much much more meaningful series this weekend than this crap - with both these 2 already pretty much having locked up playoff berths who cares who wins - meaningless.
Maybe they can stage another fake fight or have some brushback crap to get everybody intrested

Sidenote regarding this Yankee/Sox garbage:

as a Sox fan i didn't think id be saying this midseason but id much rather have the Yankees rotation at this point in the year if Colon, Garcia, and Nova can keep this up this is a very hard team to beat. A healthy Bucholtz would change things but the odds of him coming back are slim to none in my eyes gonna be a great series this weekend.

Come playoff time i like the Yankees chances just cause of CC - as far as a head to head showdown with the Sox...SP depth means jack at that time of the season - just need 1 or 2 other other decent arms to go with CC and its curtains

This isn't the greatest rivalry in baseball today...but it's the most entertaining one with all the talent on both teams.

Joey... what the hell are u talking about... This is a huge series for the confidence of the Fankees...
I would take Lester and Beckett up against any 2 with the bats that the Redsox have in the playoffs... Thats curtains
I mean its a very ignorant statement u made.... i guess i could say i will take Lester, Beckett, and another stud and thats curtains.... There are no studs out there

There is no person in there right mind that would take any combination of 2 yankees pitchers over Lester and Beckett right now....
No one is arguing the Sox got the better two pitchers but depth wise 1-5 Yanks have a better rotation no question, outside of Lester and Beckett you have no idea what you are getting from the Sox starters. Trust me im a sox fan it's tough to say but everyone has been waiting for Nova, Colon, and Garcia to fall apart and it's August and they haven't.

Never expected Soriano/Robertson/Mo...but I'll take it. Good to see Soriano come through in a pressure situation. He's done his job since coming back...albeit just 3 innings.

Beckett and Lester aint CC dude any way you slice it...CC is a grade fucking A stud that you must deal with 3 times in a 7 game series...Beckett and Lester are nice arms but not like that.
Point im making is no matter what happens when the sox and yanks tangle in the playoffs is the Yanks always got that high card in the hole - that makes em the favs no matter what imo - dont matter who got homefield or what position players are hurt.
CC motherfcker

CC has a 5+ ERA in 6 starts between the Red Sox and Rangers this year. Lets see that turn around before start naming him the top pitcher of the bunch. It's all about matchups. He may be better...but if he's not better when facing the Red Sox...does it matter?

I don't get your arguements Joey. You're the first one to say the Yankees are overrated and that they suck and laugh at them for it...but now you're arguing that they are better than the Sox? I mean...if they're not the underdogs in this matchup...then that must mean that you think they're better, right? Because the term "underdog" means, well, the opposite of "favorite".
