I was at that game. In the bleachers. I saw that ball and was like "that was foul?". I couldn't believe it, but without seeing a replay, I didn't think anything of it. There wasn't an arguement if I wasn't mistaken. But when I got back, and saw replays and people saying how bad it was, I remembered that play perfectly.

congrats Yankee backers-- Sparky i know what an athlete is, there are a lot of great baseball players that aren't great athletes..  there's no way you can put him up there w/ being a great athlete, he's a hell of a pitcher, but there are tons of pitchers that i would not classify as athletes

Game 3 last season was this same matchup. I know you didn't like the outcome, but it was one hell of a game. 2-1 if I'm not mistaken.

It was horrible.  I was at the bar watching the game and could not shut up about it the rest of the night.  Now who knows if that would have changed the outcome of the game, but if MIN wins that game it could have changed the complexion of the series.  Momentum is so big in baseball.  BOL!

I didn't say in all of baseball. I said on the Yankees. Watching 162 games a season on both YES and My9...it's burned into my brain every time I see Mariano make a play on the field. The announcers always say that all the players say Mariano is the best athlete on the team. By watching him in the Outfield during BP...he's just so smooth.

No it was game 2.  Game three was in MIN and I was at that game.  BOL!
