It all depends on the amount of money that is involved. What is that if I may ask?

And I hate when people try to justify how it's not correct to hedge or mathematically correct.  Answer this, is it to correct to play 8 team parlays in the first place?  That's a no, and the discussion ends there.

This is correct, if you are going to hedge, then you shouldve just made a 7 team parlay without putting the Tigers in it, it wouldve paid more

If u bet $50 to win $2000 (8 teamer) parlay, now......u win the first 7 gms already, of coz u can always choose to let it ride to win $1950. But if u hedge let's say $850........so u'll get the sure money nomatter which team wins.

    Team A wins : U'll win $2000-$50-$850 = $900

    Team B wins : U'll win &850-$50 = $800

It all depends how much gamble in u & how important the amount of money means to u.

I'll always take a sure win if the units is going to be 8 or more.

No offense intended to the dude, but if he's sending in 8-team parlays, I'm guessing he doesn't have $850 in his account for hedging purposes.

I kinda hope this last game gets rained out.  The parlay still good just for less though, right?

Don't worry about what I have in my account.  To discuss figures is low class, but feel free to check through my old threads to see how I've been doing.  Haven't really had a losing week all season.

Should pay out as a 7-teamer if the game is canceled.

What you have available to wager is absolutely pertinent in this case.  Why?  Because hedging to win the same amount win or lose is the smart play.  If you didn't want to show all your financial cards, you shouldn't have begged for advice.

That's why I talk in units.  One person's units may be $10 and another may be $1000.  Doesn't really matter.

It's obnoxious and low class when people claim day after day they play 4 figure games and up and discuss dollar amounts.  Some people on here aren't that big and are trying to build a bankroll slowly.

We've all been there and I've never respected cappers that talk that big money shit it shouldn't matter unless you're either trying to impress people you don't know, or make people you don't know feel small.

Parlay hedgers make me laugh.  If you want to hedge a parlay, its pretty simple what to do.  LEAVE THE LAST TEAM OUT.  The parlay would be a winner already.   It's nonsense to hedge.  You had a winner already if you are going to hedge the last game.

I'm still trying to figure out how a gambler is supposed to know he's gonna hit a 7 team parley for sure?   If that were the case Fishscale woulda bombed a rack on a 7 teamer and laughed at all you clowns.

Hell yeah, guaranteed profit, no need to get greedy.

And yeah, I love how all these clowns assume the first 7 are guarantees or some shit.  Usually the first or second leg loses and the things a wash

I think they are saying if you know you are going to hedge if you happen to win the first 7...why even bother adding the late game?
