That's his units won in the entire MLB season thus far, he just consistently forgets to update that part of his post.  LVL if I were you I'd just change that to "Units won in the 2010/11 MLB season to date", so when you copy and paste that part of your post you don't have to switch the date every day.

Huh?  He wasn't being ignorant, my man.  He was asking a legitimate question.  If somebody is up nearly 40 units since April 17th, that is one thing, but who knows if that person lost 80 units the month before that?  It's not as if LVL intentionally leaves that that way to trick his followers, he just accidentally forgets to change it and I'm sure he appreciates the guy pointing it out in a mature way.  Knowing he is up almost 40 units since the start of the season is more impressive to me then thinking he is up 40 units since April 17th.

That's actually incorrect.   I started keeping track of my units won / lost AS OF April 17th of this season.    So I could be up or down a little more units before April 17th.  However, this was not recorded so I started on 4/17.  This notorious date remains the same as my landmark, and units are adjusted and changed each day accordingly.

He throws 1 unit on every game as far as I can tell.  For tracking his picks in this thread he does, any way.  If he bets on a favorite he bets to win a unit, if he bets on an under dog he bets a unit to win whatever the juice is.  Always one unit, though, even his POD as far as I can tell.  Although many people in here throw 2 units on his POD and 1 unit on everything else.  

You sound like you don't really have a system set up for what your "units" are.  You need to figure out a dollar amount you are comfortable risking on every game, and that is your unit.  For a new gambler it might be as low as 10 or 20 dollars = 1 unit, for a professional it might be 500, 1000, or more = 1 unit.  Don't bet more then your comfortable with, and don't up your units until you have a decent bankroll built up and you are playing with the houses money, and then if you ever go on a losing streak and lose that bankroll then drop your units down to what they originally were and try to rebuild your bankroll.

Thanks for clarifying - it actually wasn't self explanatory since "as of April 17th" could have also meant the number of units won from the start of the year until April 17th.

No big deal.

you were a little down before then...not sure why you didn't go back and calculate...it took me about 5 minutes to do it a few months ago.

Most forums say "Last edited by ___________ at _:__ PM" for instance, so it'd be fairly easy to point out the people that changed their picks.  Good point, though, because some people on here really would do that and try to get away with it.
