Athletics/Braves Under 7.5 -105
Sale was dominant in his first start, allowing nothing to cross to plate in his 6 IP. Severino only surrendered two runs over 5IP to the Jays in his first start. Should be a slight breeze coming in from right, helping to keep things in the yard. Sale doesn't get hit hard, so I expect him to carry alot of the weight here today, but if Severino can match what he did against Toronto, I think we get a low scoring game.
Cardinals/Mets Under 7.5 -1.5
This game may not even start. Supposed to rain off and on all day here, so if they do start it, it will be chilly, and wet. The ball won't be going anywhere. I do worry about slick balls bothering pitchers control, but I'm risking it.
Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 +145
The Crews bats came out on fire in the first series scoring 29 runs in their first three games, albeit against the White Sox. They've been silenced in this series, so looking for a bounce back in the rubber game. Misiorowski was excellent in his season debut, and expect more of the same early on in the year for him. Rasmussen was good in his first start, but his bullpen blew a 5 run lead. Leaky bullpens don't excite me.
New York Yankees +102
Not seeing a line up card sucks, but I'm assuming no one needs a day off yet for the Yanks, and their A line up, is better than the Mariners A line up, and I favor Schlittler over Kirby as well. Both looked good in their openers, but Schlittler had no hit kinda stuff. Gonna be a low scoring game, so it won't take much, and getting plus money on the better team is cool with me.
Royals/Twins Under 8.5 -115
Neither offense is scoring runs at the moment. Combined for 21 runs scored in their first 8 games combined. Ryan is the ace of the Twins staff now that Pablo is down for the year. He's got good stuff. Cameron was very serviceable last year, so hope to see improvement there too. Wind should be blowing directly into home plate for the whole night.
