They put 8 on the board yesterday without Vlad, and he's back in there today. Gausmann has been very good for the most part, and I don't know how he does it with his soft stuff, but he does it. Perez has a great stat line from his last start, but its vs the Mets and that carries very little weight right now.
Cardinals/Brewers Over 8.5 +100
I think we get some fireworks in this one today. After Urenas salute to Degeneration X last night, I'd imagine the Cards get a little retribution today, and when emotions are high, the scoreboard total can be too. May is the veteran of this team so he has to hit one of the Crews top 4 guys, and that could set off a whole chain of events, that would include him leaving the game early, and the Cards bullpen having to tame this loaded offense.
Sacramento Athletics +108
The Ms took the first two of the series, and head back home after this game. I haven't seen a line up yet, but even if all the bats are there, they don't hit lefties well, and they are looking forward to getting home I'd imagine, so just take your AB and then sit down kinda mentality today. Gilbert has a pattern of following up a great start, with a bad one, and his last one was great.
Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 +125
Sanchez has been unhittable in May. He has yet to allow a run in the month. The Padres are already offensively challenged, and they are the worst team in baseball vs left handed pitching, so I don't see how they can stay in this game. The Phils bats have homered 5 times in this series already, and they are looking primed for their match up with the Dodgers next. I don't know where the Friars runs come from, and Buehler hasn't been any sort of world beater either.

I have no faith that the Os offense can keep this up, and same goes for their bullpen. Matz has been pretty effective, and the Os are struggling against lefties. Gibson is still very new to pitching in the bigs, and the bats of the Rays are needing something to help wake them back up.
Cubs/Pirates Under 8.5 +102
The Cubs haven't scored more than 3 runs in 8 of their last 10 games, all of them losses. They aren't hitting a lick at the moment. Ya hate to see it. Chandler has been very serviceable, but his last time out, he fanned 11 Jays in just 5 IP. Taillon is good enough to keep Buccos bats at bay, and the Pirates pen has started to right the ship.
Atlanta Braves -102
Rinse and repeat with the Braves right now. I have all the faith in the world in this team.
Cincinnati Reds +102
Abbott has been exceptional, the Reds have won 5 of 6, while the Mets continue to be the laughing stock of baseball, losing 5 straight and 7 of 10. Bullpen start the for the Metropolitans and I don't think that is the answer. This team can't hit. Reds bats have woken back up, scoring at least 4 in 9 of their last 10 games. Mets don't hit anyone, but they really don't hit lefties.
Astros/Rangers Over 7.5 +108
Yes, deGrom is pitching, but his last two starts have been shakey at best. He's allowed 6 HRs in his last two starts, 10 ER on 11 hits. Burrows hasn't been any better, or worse for that matter. Both offenses could potentially feast, but I expect the Rangers to at least get a handful off Burrows before the Stros pen comes in for clean up duty.
