Yamamoto has had only four starts this season in which he threw less than 80 pitches, but following the first three times it happened he posted a 1.42 ERA over 27 innings. He went 1-0 with two no-decisions.

One of those fewer than 80 pitch starts occurred in Milwaukee on July 7th when the Brewers sent him to the showers in shame in the bottom of the 1st inning after the proud Yamamoto had thrown only 41 pitches. 

That is very impressive to me. The Dodgers clearly get up for the better teams.

Arigato Yamamoto!

The Dodgers going 2-0 in Philadelphia and then following it up with another 2-0 in Milwaukee is WAY good. What a time for this highly paid group of players to put it all together. So far this is the opposite of recent past October chokes. I believe that starting the NLDS and the NLCS on the road took a lot of pressure off of them. 

Snell and Yamamoto are a devastating 1-2 punch in a playoff series. That is now crystal clear.

If the Blue Jays can overcome their current 2-0 series deficit and advance, the Dodgers will be flying to Canada to begin the World Series. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind.
