GH and llTB43-  on the balt/tb  over 9  - considering you could  get 7 plus innings combined  from those dreadful bullpens - the over looks like a good play.

I don't know why you guys are ragging on the cubs pen.Marmol has been lights out in middle relief and except for 1 bad game,kerry woods has been awesome.Dempster is nerve racking,but is better than howry and has 20 plus saves.

Actually, I see it differently. The Cubs' bullpen was one of the reasons I liked the Cubs even more as they have been one of the top bullpens in baseball lately. Here are recent bullpen numbers for the Cubs:

Dempster  last 13 - 12 2/3 innings, 4 hits, 2 runs 8K's..1.42 ERA

Marmol    last 8 - 10 1/3 innings, 4 hits, o runs, 14 K's...000ERA

Howry     last 7 - 7 2/3 innings, 5 hits, 1 run   ....1.17 ERA

Eyre      last 9 - 6 2/3 innings, 4 hits, 0 runs, 5 K's....000EA

Wuertz last 7 - 9 innings, 5 hits, 3 runs, 13 K's...3.00 ERA

Total of 5 :   46 1/3 innings, just 22 hits allowed, 6 runs, 45K's...1.17 ERA..to me, that's AWESOME!

GH,thanks for your picks and money Ive won on them,usually just read them and move on but I did want to add on to a point you made.
Trachsel somehow gets the job done!
That is a fact and Ive bet against him enough to have the right to say it,he has cost me money,dont know how but he does win,Thanks and GL GH.

I agree with your thoughts on Young tonight, he does not seem right at all with the back injury. Davis always seems to work with a lot of runners on base and offers up a lot of free passes. Pads have hit LH's ok on the road. I'm thinking over the total in that one. GL

I disagree with you if arizona wins its gonna be 2-3 (-.325 ) thats not bad
