This guy Carmona is a thrower - not a pitcher ... he had a great 2007 and then signed a  big contract ... it's been down-hill since for him.  I often wonder if "big contracts" have a major effect on a players frame of mind ... what else could it be ... he was unhittable in 2007.

this game is far from over. The Rangers had a 5-1 lead yesterday and the Indians came back to tie it at 5 and anyone could have won the game as it ended 11-9. There are 8 and a half innings left. Not a great start, but far from over. I have no money on the game, I slept late.

And for those who bet on Cleveland....big deal.  Who hasn't gotten popped in the first inning before.  Game has a long way to go...and if Cleveland loses, it's one loss.  I had 3 losses yesterday.  It's part of the gig.
